Job Purpose:
1. Manager Marketing & Communications will assist the management in developing and implementing BTMC marketing, referral business, brandingand communication strategies for Bukti Tinggi Medical Center.
2. Assist the management in organizing and executing internal and externalcommunications to support the organization.
3. Assist the management in public and media relations, marketing andpromotional plans and events, publication management and imageadvertising for the hospital.
4. To support and maintain a positive public image of the hospital.
5. Manage the team and ensure that directives from management are carriedout within the department accordingly.
Job Content:
·Assist the hospital CEO of Medical Center on the development and implementation of a Marketing plan that will embed set strategies and targets in the form of revenue generation, cost containment and operational key performance indicators (KPI’s) which are aligned with Group (Malaysia)strategies.
- Define and implement the Marketing & Referral strategies for the business(s),achieve set economic objectives, drive market development and customerloyalty/retention.
- Develop and identity new business opportunities according to marketsegmentation and maintain existing business relationships.
- ·Identify and participate in the development of new products and services, presentations and areas of business activity which will add to the growth, standing or reputation on the local market (community driven).
- ·Plan and create strategies, tactics, activities and branding materialsincluding digital platforms, for the purpose of conveying the marketingmessage to target markets.
- ·Packaging the operational approach to sell and operate comprehensive medical & wellness service solutions related to various market segment:
- ·Interface with Strategic Planning in the elaboration of strategic & marketingplans.
- ·Product development in accordance with defined centre of excellences.
- ·Facilitate best practices sharing between entities.
- ·Works with the Management and Department Heads in developing thecontents for internal and external communication materials including PRmaterials, corporate brochures and literature, newsletters, fact sheets, coffeetable books, e-blasts, programme books, press releases, video clips, postersand signages.
- ·Work with Hospitality Service team to gather customer intelligence andcreate value initiatives that will drive customer loyalty.
- ·Participate in preparation/execution of hospital events, conferences,launches, health talks, ceremonies, continuous medical education, etc.
- ·Responsible for the organization resources and exhibits during Community Service programs at various areas, within and outside the hospital.
- ·Cultivate and maintain a positive network with local authorities andcommunity organizations.
- ·Ensure good rapport, relationship and continuous engagement with alldoctors, medical staff and other departments within the hospital.
- ·Involved in creative and strategy sessions with external agencies toimplement advertising and other campaigns to promote and brand thehospital.
- ·To assist the Management with media relations and media crisismanagement, namely pertaining to customers' complaints in the media.
- ·Assist in monitoring and keeping the Management abreast with medicalissues in the media and also to plan strategies to keep Management alert over necessary responses to be made to the media over such issues.
- ·Develop and oversee all the hospital wide tour request. Also work withHospitality Services team with the coordination of the hospital wide tourprogrammes, visits and care for international and VIP patients.
- ·Assist management team in any ad-hoc projects involving internationalmarketing.
- ·Prepare and manage the department budget while ensuring the objectivesof the department(s) are met with agreed cost estimates.
- ·Lead, manage, coach and mentor the team to enhance teamwork,cooperation and maintain enthusiasm and morale within the department.
- ·Evaluate progress and results regarding department activities and hospitalevents.
- ·Maintain and report monthly activities and future events
- ·Managing and producing weekly/monthly reports in accordance to hospitaland group policies.
- ·Perform other related duties/tasks as assigned by the Management.
