Job Description :

The General Manager of Strategic Communications is a leadership role that directly mirrors the vision of the President and Managing Director while steering the organization's communication strategy. Responsible for shaping and executing comprehensive communication strategies, this position drives the organization's reputation, aligns messaging with strategic goals, and manages stakeholder relations

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and execute a holistic communication strategy aligned with the President and Managing Director's vision and the organization's strategic objectives.

Stakeholder Relations:

• Foster and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including customers, employees, investors, partners, and the public. Ensure alignment of communication efforts with stakeholder needs and expectations.

Brand Management:

• Oversee the organization's brand strategy, ensuring consistency, clarity, and positive brand perception in line with the organizational vision.

Media and Public Relations:

• Manage the organization's media engagement, ensuring accurate representation and proactive communication with the public. Develop PR strategies aligned with the leadership's directives.

Crisis Communication Planning:

• Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address unforeseen challenges while maintaining transparency and credibility.

Content Strategy and Editorial Oversight: 

• Direct the creation and distribution of communication materials, maintaining high editorial standards and consistency in messaging across various platforms.

Team Leadership and Development: 

• Lead the communication team, providing guidance and mentorship. Foster a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: 

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive communication supporting the organization'sobjectives.

Strategic Alignment with Organizational Goals: 

• Ensure that all communication efforts are in line with the President and Managing Director's vision and contribute to achieving the organization's long-term objectives.

Ethical and Responsible Communication:

• Uphold ethical standards and corporate social responsibility in all communication endeavors.
