Job Description :

Senior Manager reports directly to Director, Business Development, Strategy & Transformation, with a matrix reporting to Group on Brand Communication & Digital Marketing related alignment.

  1. Alignment to Hospital Strategies and Direction
  • To ensure consistent alignment and understanding of the vision, strategies, and key focus areas of the hospital in all brand communication and digital marketing initiatives. 

2. Strategy Implementation

  • To strategize and execute on primarily these two focus areas; Brand & Communications
  • To plan and maintain a healthy budget spend on all initiatives
  • To evaluate and plan for hiring of key positions annually
  • To ensure monitoring and evaluation of outcomes are in place monthly/quarterly/half yearly

3. Brand Communication

  • To ensure a consistent tone of voice and corporate identity in all messaging that encapsulates the elements of “People Caring for People” (service culture), clinical excellence and continuous innovation.   
  • Adapt key messaging in all communication and marketing collaterals that position the hospital for clinical excellence, service culture, hospital of choice, future of healthcare, great place to work, strategic locations and other key unique selling points (USPs)
  • Identify potential areas of brand communication; content collaborations, PR opportunities, earned & paid media opportunities & non-English audience segments
  • To ensure all design elements are aligned to corporate identity, adapts a customer-centric approach and modern.
  • Crisis Communication – to ensure messaging and templates are in place to respond to any PR/reputational risks

4. Digital Marketing

  • To ensure that digital marketing is current, informed, and fast to respond to consumer behavioral changes.
  • To work closely with Group Marcom/Corporate office to align SJMC’s focus area
  • To increase channel growth for our client’s socials e.g. FB, YouTube, Instagram LinkedIn, TikTok.
  • To work closely with COE(s), Corporate Marketing & clinical teams to position key products/services and help generate leads
  • To identify potential collaboration with new digital platforms.
  • To ensure efforts are measurable and results-driven.

5. Stakeholders Management

  • To ensure a robust engagement and harmonious working relationship with external and internal partners; External – Media, agencies, vendors, KOLs, NGOs, potential collaborators & Internal – inter-departmental colleagues, doctors and Group colleagues, sister hospitals.

6. Robust Team Management

  • To ensure team members have an open space for ideation, feedback, and upskilling opportunities
  • To ensure team continuity plan is in place with succession planning forward
  • To work closely with HR & Finance to plan for career path mapping for team members
