JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide legal advisory services to all divisions on matters pertaining to legal and contract documents.
Review and vet all legal documents including without limitation contracts, agreements, customer terms & conditions, letters & correspondence and other related documents.
Develop legal strategy to be translated into contracts/agreements required for all end-users and divisions.
Review standard operating procedures and enhancement of existing contracts aligned with the latest regulations.
Work closely with relevant stakeholders in negotiation discussions involving legal or regulatory requirements and contract standards to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Provide advice to internal stakeholders on legal implications of all strategic business decisions such as disputes, rights and obligation of the company for new business, existing business partners and vendors to facilitate business decisions.
Draft and review all legal documentation including but not limited to letters, emails, Letter of Intent (LOI), contractual agreement, Letter of Award (LOA) and all documentations related to contract management to ensure accuracy and safeguard company’s interest.
Provide legal advice and manage all litigation matters for the company and liaise with external legal counsel.
Ensure legal adherence to Intellectual property Rights for all innovations, engineering designs and drawings.
Facilitate and advise the Human Resource Department on matters pertaining to Employment Law and Industrial Relations Law.
To ensure a Company is compliant with all statutory and risk requirements.
To create awareness to all on the latest regulations and processes.
Review and recommend appropriate action plans to operationalize new regulatory. requirements affecting business activities.
