Job Description :

1. Responsible for the Financial Management of the business

• Preparation and reporting of Financial and Management Accounts, including the use of analysis and reporting to maintain the integrity of data in the General Ledger to ensure that the Hospital’s financial and operational objectives are met.

2. Business Performance Management

• Working with the team, this role will provide insightful, accurate, relevant and timely financial information and advice covering monthly operational report, budgets, forecasts, and is expected to partner with the business to drive performance. All business cases on CAPEX and expansion projects where required will need to be analyzed and reviewed to ensure the Company’s Return on Investment is met.

3. Tax Computation & submission of initial tax estimates & yearly tax returns incl GST submissions

4. Safeguarding the Fixed Asset of the Company

• Effective management of CAPEX budget, custodian of fixed asset register and safeguard the management of Company’s asset.

5. Accounts Payable

• Ensure payment are prepared in accordance of company’s policy & procedure, timely payment

• Ensure top 10 creditor reconciliation being performed monthly

• Drs revenue accounting and handling Drs’ query and requests (revenue, payment and GST)

6. Banking Operations

• Credit card reconciliation

7. Patient Admin

• Oversee the operations of Front Office, ER Front Office, Cashiering and Credit Control to ensure cash collections are managed effectively.

• In Patient & Out Patient Billing including preparation of all necessary documents to be provided to corporate/ insurance company according to the time frame stated in the agreement

• Revisit existing/create new treatment packages together with the user to ensure profitability of the package.

• Handles the financial counseling for patients and corporate clients

8. Accounts Receivables Management for corporate clients

• Review and recommend the credit limit for all new and existing Corporate clients based on their credit worthiness

• Analyze and evaluate Accounts Receivable performance

• Ensure sufficient provisions are allocated for potential non recovery debts

• Review and recommends bad debts write off for Management approval

• Liaise with solicitors on the progress of the litigation case

• Improve Accounts Receivable turnover days by embarking into improvement project initiatives eg. E-Billing with payers , E- Guarantee Letter and E-Payment

Degree in accounting/professional qualification
