Senior Manager, Ligitation will be responsible for overseeing and managing all litigation matters related to the company's operations. Main purpose of the job is to provide strategic legal advice and support in handling disputes, lawsuits, and legal challenges faced by the organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To Ensure the company's operations, policies, and practices comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in Malaysia. Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations and communicate the impact on the business to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and implement effective strategies to handle litigation cases and disputes. Analyze the merits of each case and advise senior management on the best course of action.
• Oversee and manage all aspects of ongoing litigation, including drafting legal pleadings, responses, and submissions. Ensure deadlines are met and maintain a proactive approach to advancing the company's position.
• Identify potential risks associated with ongoing and potential litigation cases. Provide risk analysis and mitigation plans to minimize potential legal exposure.
• Conduct legal research to support litigation cases and stay updated on relevant case laws and precedents.
• Monitor and manage the litigation budget effectively, ensuring cost-effective representation while maintaining the quality of legal services.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on the progress of litigation cases and any significant developments.
• Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide legal support during the product development and approval process.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. A Master's degree or additional certifications in litigation management would be advantageous.
• Proven experience (typically 8-10 years) as a legal professional with significant experience in handling complex litigation cases within the telecommunication industry or a similar corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian laws and regulations related to litigation, including civil procedure and dispute resolution mechanisms.
