Provide leadership oversight in formulating long and short-term strategies to attain strong financial performance and growth.

Provide overall direction in controlling managing and tracking the operational and capital expenditures to ensure the optimization of resources achieve the optimum yield

Maintain effective networks and enhance relationships with internal and external key stakeholders including government ministries, agencies, industry associations, and interest groups to strengthen the organization's brand perception and public confidence in supporting the Division’s mission and business performance.

Drive technology business agenda and initiatives through various engagement platforms (e.g. forums, dialogues, conferences, etc.), sharing technology transfer, services, and consultancy with stakeholders, while actively participating in national/ international working committees to stay abreast of the latest developments, disseminating knowledge/skill and promoting the Company's brand.

Initiate the appropriate action toward prompt response to major clients’ inquiries and other lead information.

Define and drive the overall R&D, innovation, and commercialisation strategies to position the organization's Industrial Research as a leader in industrial research and technology development.

Lead the strategic development of high-impact technologies and drive the translation of R&D outputs into market-ready solutions

Provide leadership and guidance to develop, enforce, maintain, and monitor policy, procedures and systems for the department in order strengthen integrity and governance, quality, OSH, environmental, and business performance.

Drive, demonstrate and cultivate behaviours which reflects accountability in working environment for the success of the organization's Cultural Beliefs amongst subordinates or team members to build sustainable high-performance team.

Develop a strategic approach towards learning and development through mentoring and coaching with aims to build competencies and capabilities and create a challenging and successful career progression
