Position Purpose and Core Function:
Provide effective leadership, strategic thinking and drive the organisation to achieve the targeted goals and for the Organization to be the country's principal institution in the Franchise Sector.
Provide Reference Point of a Successful Franchise Business;
Provide Platform for Entrepreneurs; and
Income and Cash Flow generation
Main Functions:
1. Strategic Leadership:
• Define and implement the vision, mission, and long-term goals for their brands.
• Develop and execute strategies that drive the growth and expansion of both brands across local and international markets.
• Lead the strategic planning process for the group, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and the specific objectives of each brand.
2. Brand Development and Business Growth:
• Identify new opportunities for market expansion, including new franchise locations, partnerships, and potential markets.
• Oversee the development of new products, services, and franchise models for 1their brands, ensuring they meet customer demand and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Manage the brand positioning and marketing strategies for both brands to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
3. Financial Management:
• Ensure the financial health of both brands by managing budgets, driving revenue growth, and controlling operational costs.
• Monitor financial performance, managing operational costs, optimizing investments, and aligning financial resources with strategic priorities to drive growth and maintain sustainable operations.
• Develop and implement financial strategies such as cost management, capital planning, and investment allocation to ensure sustainable growth.
4. Franchise Operations and Expansion:
• Lead the expansion efforts for both the brands, ensuring consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction across all franchise locations.
• Monitor franchisee performance and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
5. Team Leadership and Development:
• Attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring that the team is aligned with the company's mission and goals.
• Set clear goals and provide ongoing guidance to ensure high levels of performance across all departments.
6. Marketing and Brand Positioning:
• Oversee the marketing strategies for both brands, ensuring that messaging is consistent and resonates with target customers.
• Identify and implement new marketing opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and market position.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop advertising campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement strategies.
7. Risk Management and Compliance:
• Identify and manage potential risks, including financial, operational, and reputational risks for both brands.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, franchise agreements, and legal requirements.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the company and its franchisees.
8. Stakeholder Engagement:
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for Group MyFranchise, representing the brands to investors, partners, franchisees, and the public.
• Regularly communicate progress, achievements, and challenges to key stakeholders, including the board of directors and shareholders.
9. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
• Drive innovation in both both brands to keep up with changing consumer preferences and industry trends.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring both brands enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and product offerings.
10. Corporate Governance:
• Ensure that both brand's adhere to high standards of corporate governance and ethical business practices.
• Collaborate with the Board of Directors to ensure that the strategies, goals, and policies align with the company's mission and objectives
Requirements:
• Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Finance, or Strategic Management)
• Proven experience as CEO or in other managerial position
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the vision.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as retails, F&B, marketing, PR, finance etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
