Senior Manager, Finance - BTMC

Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager Finance shall be responsible for the overall smooth running of the financial services that comprises of the following services in meeting customer service standards and customer expectations, as well as aligning fiscal, operational manpower, and other resources to drive optimal patient care and experiences.
- Oversees the overall performance of the Finance operations.
- Set strategic directions for the Finance Departments to meet organization's objectives.
- Drives and directs the Finance departments in developing short and long-term goals and plans for the departments to fulfill the organization's objectives.
- Asist in the formulation of finance strategies and plans, improve accounting and finance process ensuring compliance to Group policy and authority.
- Ensure the internal and external controls are in place within the division.
- Plan and prepare hospital wide annual budget for Management approval to be in line with the set goals by CEO.
- Working with the team, this role will provide insightful, accurate, relevant, and timely financial information and advice covering monthly operational reports, budgets, forecasts, and is expected to partner with the business to drive performance. All business cases on CAPEX and expansion projects where required will need to be analyzed and reviewed to ensure the Company's Return on Investment is met.
- Formulates, guides the short and long-term plans of the division, reviews and maintains the annual budget to ensure the financial targets, customer satisfaction targets and departmental goals and objectives are met.
- Ensure adherence to relevant authority's rules and regulations requirements.
- Ensure all requirements by the external and internal auditors are met and corrective actions are taken for all the recommendations.
- Effective management of CAPEX budget, custodian of fixed asset register and safeguard the management of Company's assets as per policies.
- Ensure payment is prepared in accordance with the company’s policy & procedure, timely payment.
- Recommend process improvements where appropriate to improve the delivery of services to the internal customers.
- Ensure the quarterly and annual stock takes are being conducted in accordance to approved procedures and guidelines.
- Formulate pricing strategy and work out detailed costing for implementation.
- Conduct competitor analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and competitor moves to achieve the market share.
Job Requirement :
- A Bachelor or Master’s Degree In Accounting / Finance / or any related field from a recognized institution
- Professional Accountancy Body’s membership/fellowship e.g., MIA, ACCA, CPA, ICA, ICMA will be an added advantage.
- Experience in a managerial capacity (minimum 8 years).
