Job Description :

Senior Manager, Contract Management will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects related to contracts, agreements, and legal compliance within the organization. The job requires a deep understanding of contract law, negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the company's interests are protected while maintaining strong business relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of contract specialists in reviewing and negotiating various contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, partnership agreements, and service agreements. Ensure that contracts align with the company's policies and legal standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments on contracts to identify potential legal and financial risks. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Develop and maintain standardized contract templates that align with legal requirements and best practices. Implement guidelines for drafting contracts to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Oversee the contract execution process, ensuring all necessary parties sign and adhere to the agreed-upon terms. Monitor contract performance and track milestones and obligations.
  • Contract Drafting and Review of various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, customer contracts, service level agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in Malaysia. Stay updated on changes to relevant laws and regulations and communicate these updates to the team and relevant stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • A bachelor's degree in Law or a related field; a master's degree in Law or Business Administration is a plus.
  • Extensive experience in contract management and legal operations, preferably within the telecommunication industry or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian contract laws and regulations, as well as an understanding of the telecommunication industry's specific legal requirements.
  • Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and drafting complex agreements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to lead a team and drive results.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Professional certifications in contract management or related fields are advantageous.
