To monitor and execute overall product origination process from developing, enhancing and reviewing the new/existing products for KT, within the stipulated/given timeline.

·      Lead the conceptualization, development, and launch of new products, ensuring alignment with shariah principles and regulatory standards.

·      Plan and design new/variation product, packaging and/or related business initiatives with appropriate Shariah concept and ensure compliance with the KT’s policies and regulatory requirements.

·      Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to market release including obtain necessary approvals from the relevant internal (MANCO/ Board Risk/ Board of Directors) and external committees (i.e. Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia).

·      Organizing and/or coordinating working committee from the relevant departments/ stakeholders in order to execute the product development process flow.

·       Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for Islamic banking product development, aligning initiatives with overall business goals. 

·      Build and coordinate the effective cross-functional team, including IT, finance, analysts, marketing, legal, risk and compliance etc. 

·      To conduct product briefing/training/ awareness, business support and advisory for branches and also for new staff.

·      To ensure that all processes are followed and communications, concurrence, and approvals are obtained in a specific and timely manner.

·      Obtain approval on the new/variation product from relevant authority/regulator i.e. SKM, BNM.

·      Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, regulators, clients, and industry partners.

·      Assist Marketing team in developing marketing strategies /campaigns/ packages/ promotion for the existing/new products.

·      Assist Corporate Communication and Public Relation team in ensuring the information/ details of the products stated via communication channels are correct and accurate.

Job Requirement

·      Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent. 

·       8 to 10 years’ experience, preferably in banking industry particularly involved on credit operation.

·      Experienced in development on retail banking products (financing and deposits including investment-linked products) and commercial/corporate. 

·      Preferably Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Specialized in Product Development or equivalent.

·      Experienced in Shariah – approved products is an advantage to this position.

·      Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).

·      Self-starter, creative and innovative, and business intelligence.

·      Good analytical thinking, negotiation and writing skills
