Job Description :

Responsible for overseeing the purchasing process, maintaining relationships with suppliers, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Collaborate closely with various departments to streamline operations and uphold the company's standards for quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitoring and Expediting: Ensure timely delivery of items by monitoring orders and expediting where necessary to meet deadlines.

Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to foster cooperation and negotiate favorable terms.

Inventory Planning and Management: Oversee overall inventory planning, prepare analysis reports, and propose corrective actions as needed to optimize stock levels.

Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with store staff, sales personnel, operations, and warehouse/logistics teams to ensure accurate records and timely delivery of products to customers.

Compliance: Adhere to company's ISO processes and ensure all activities comply with relevant organizational and statutory policies, including health and safety regulations and employment laws.

Cost Optimization: Seek new suppliers based on criteria such as price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support to ensure the most cost-effective procurement methods.

Process Improvement: Review purchasing processes regularly and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality Assurance: Ensure purchased products or services meet high-quality standards and maintain compliance with the purchasing policy.

Budgeting and Cost Saving: Assist in budgeting, costing, and implementing cost- saving initiatives within the procurement function.

Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet high delivery and short lead time requirements.

Audit and Compliance: Participate in annual audits and ensure adherence to procurement procedures while recommending necessary changes for improvement.

Procedure Development: Develop and update procurement procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in procurement operations.

Administrative Support: Provide support in day-to-day administrative functions as required, ensuring smooth operations of the procurement department.

Performance Evaluation: Review the work performance of subordinates and provide constructive feedback for professional development.

Ad-hoc Assignments: Assist and perform ad-hoc assignments as assigned by management.
