Job Description :

The Head of Digitalization supports the department's digital transformation by leveraging digital technologies to enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and innovation. Working closely with the Head of Department and cross-functional teams, this role assists in developing and executing a digital strategy, identifying opportunities for digitization and automation, and supporting the implementation of digital solutions across the department.

1. Support Digital Strategy Development

• Assist in creating and executing a digital strategy aligned with organizational goals.

• Provide support to ensure strategic objectives are achieved.

2. Identify and Implement Digital Solutions

• Identify opportunities for digitization and automation.

• Support the execution of digital initiatives to enhance efficiency and innovation.

3. Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams

• Collaborate across teams to prioritize and deliver digital projects on time and within budget.

• Facilitate communication to ensure seamless project execution.

4. Support Digital Systems Management

• Assist in maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable digital systems.

• Provide support for system management and data security.

5. Encourage Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Promote continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies.

• Provide training and support on digital tools and best practices.

6. Monitor Industry Trends

• Stay updated on digital technology trends and assess their impact.

• Assist in leveraging new opportunities for departmental growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related discipline.

• Digital Leadership: 5+ years of experience in a digitalisation role, with a proven track record of successfully driving digital transformation initiatives.

• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital technologies and their applications within business and supply chain industries.

• Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including the ability to lead teams and ensure the successful delivery of digital projects.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and QlikView BI for data visualization and business analytics.

• Advanced skills in Spreadsheet applications such as Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheet for data management and analysis.

• Experience with Google Script for automating tasks and enhancing the functionality of Google Workspace tools.

• Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools like UiPath or Microsot Power Automate for automating repetitive tasks and improving process efficiency.

• Basic to intermediate programming skills in relevant languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) for developing and implementing digital solutions.
