The Assistant Resident Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing the construction activities of the project, ensuring all works is completed according to design specifications, standards, and regulations.

This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing on-site operations, and ensuring the quality and safety of the project. The Assistant Resident Engineer will lead the engineering team and report directly to the Residence Engineer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversee and manage all on-site engineering activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.

2. Lead the engineering team, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure successful project execution.

3. Coordinate with project consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

4. Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.

5. Monitor project progress and prepare detailed reports on work status, including any issues or challenges encountered.

6. Ensure quality control and assurance throughout the construction process, addressing any discrepancies or non-compliance issues promptly.

7. Implement and enforce safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

8. Provide technical support and problem-solving expertise to resolve any on-site issues or challenges.

9. Arrange and Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction activities and ensure adherence to project requirements.
