To drive overall direction, leadership and management in the planning, execution, coordination and monitoring of business sustainability i.e. Environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”),

Sustainable Development Goals (“SDG”), safety & health and business assurance which include strategies, policies and programs in-line with the company’s policies, objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide leadership and direction in the formulation of business sustainability’s framework, strategies, policies and initiatives for SIRIM Group.

• Provide advice and recommendations on key risks and issues relating to business sustainability i.e. Environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”), Sustainable Development Goals (“SDG”), safety & health, business assurance and anti-bribery.

• Provide leadership and guidance to develop, enforce, maintain, and monitor policy, procedures and systems for the department in order strengthen integrity and governance, quality, OSH, environmental, and business performance.

• Analyse, evaluate, and report company performance related to business sustainability i.e. Environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”), Sustainable Development Goals (“SDG”), safety & health and business assurance to the stakeholders.

• Guide the overall management of SIRIM Group Limit of Approval (LOA) to ensure business continuity.

• Develop a strategic approach towards training and developing subordinates/staff by mentoring, coaching, motivating and guiding them to build competencies and knowledge, and create a challenging and successful career progression.
