Job Description :

The Future Health Institute (FHI) serves as a strategic institute within the organization's Health System, providing system-level leadership in workforce capability development, translational research, digital innovation, and health system intelligence to advance evidence-based decision-making and healthcare transformation across the Group and beyond.

The Centre for Experiential Learning (CEL), a specialised centre under FHI, leads the design and delivery of simulation-based education, immersive learning technologies, and competency-driven clinical training. CEL bridges academic preparation and real-world clinical practice through the use of high-fidelity simulators, task trainers, virtual and augmented reality platforms, audiovisual learning systems, and standardised patient methodologies to enhance clinical competence, teamwork, human factors awareness, and patient safety across our client's hospitals.

Role Purpose

The Simulation Technologist is the technical and operational steward of simulation excellence within CEL. The role is responsible for the meticulous planning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of simulation environments that enable high-fidelity, realistic, safe, and educationally aligned experiential learning.

Working in close partnership with the CEL Director, faculty, clinicians, and programme leads, the Simulation Technologist translates clinical learning objectives into functionally immersive simulation scenarios, ensuring technical precision, reliability, and learner engagement. The role is pivotal in ensuring that simulation activities are not merely demonstrations, but authentic clinical rehearsals that prepare healthcare professionals for safe and effective practice.
