The Director of the Centrel of Continuous Professional Development (CCPD) is responsible for spearheading the development, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of impactful, non-MQA-accredited programmes that promote lifelong learning, professional excellence, and industry relevance. This leadership position involves strategic planning, academic innovation, stakeholder engagement, and operational excellence in alignment with our client's aspiration to become a leading hub for professional development in both clinical and non-clinical fields.

Strategic Leadership:

1. Formulate and execute the strategic vision for SCPD in alignment with our client’s institutional objectives.
2. Promote interdisciplinary collaboration across faculties and with external industry partners.

Programme Development & Oversight:

1. Lead the design and implementation of CPD programmes in Clinical & Life Health Sciences, Leadership & Management, and Technology & Digital Transformation.
2. Ensure all offerings align with current professional standards and meet CPD accreditation requirements

Industry Engagement & Partnerships:

1. Cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, industry leaders, and regulatory authorities.
2. Co-develop and oversee joint certification programmes with external institutions to enhance credibility and reach.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

1. Uphold high academic and operational standards in programme delivery.
2. Oversee certification issuance and ensure compliance with professional licensing requirements.

Team Development & Management:

1. Recruit, support, and manage a diverse team of educators, programme coordinators, and administrative personnel.
2. Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Marketing & Outreach:

1. Drive the visibility and appeal of SCPD programmes through strategic marketing and outreach efforts.
2. Represent our client in national and international conferences and forums relating to professional development.

Education

1. Master’s degree in Education, Healthcare Management, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) is highly desirable, particularly in a discipline relevant to adult education, healthcare, or professional development.

Knowledge and Experience

1. Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in academic leadership, continuing education, or healthcare professional development.
2. In-depth understanding of CPD frameworks, accreditation processes, and the needs of clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals.
3. Proven ability to establish partnerships with regulatory bodies, professional organisations, and industry stakeholders.
